Give the Gift of Seasons of Story!

This is my ‘gift guide’ weekend: yesterday I posted a few non-book gift suggestions, and this evening I’m publishing my book gift guide video on YouTube.

Of course, I would be absolutely thrilled if anyone wanted to give ‘Seasons of Story’ as a gift this holiday season! I’ve created some downloadable e-cards, which you can either print out or email to the recipient (scroll down to view and select).

In order to gift a subscription to Seasons of Story, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to https://seasonsofstory.substack.com/subscribe?gift=true and enter the requested details.

   

2. If you'd like to send the gift subscription at a later time, check the box next to "Schedule for later" and select your preferred date from the date picker.

3. You may select either a one month or annual subscription. If you select a one-month gift option, you’ll only be charged for that single month. Gift subscriptions on Substack do not automatically renew. This means it won't become a recurring monthly fee. This is the same for gift annual memberships.

What happens once you’ve purchased a gift subscription?

1. Once you purchase a gift subscription, you'll receive a payment receipt confirming your purchase.

2. The gift recipient will receive an email and be able to access paid content immediately. If they don't have a Substack account, one will be created for them automatically, and they can sign into Substack to start reading.

3. When the subscription is close to ending, the gift recipient will receive reminder emails where they'll have the opportunity to purchase a paid subscription plan or subscribe as a free reader.

Downloadable gift cards:

Once you’ve purchased a Seasons of Story gift subscription, you may also like to email (or print out and put in a card or Christmas stocking) one of my downloadable gift cards.

Right click (or press and hold) any of the options below to save the gift card to your computer or phone.

Remember, these ‘cards’ are just for fun and to give you something pretty to send with your gift, should you wish. If you want to purchase a gift subscription, then you must follow the steps listed above.
