Lovely Miranda! I am looking forward to one more book club. It gets me to read more books, find new authors and books, and an excuse to buy more books. On the other hand, more books are a problem, at least in my little house: double-stacked bookshelves, books stacks all over the house, and the constant question: what book to keep and what book to give away? I know it is a luxury question, and I am so lucky to have the means to buy books, so I have no complaints. You all have a great week, and I am looking forward to keeping up with this community.

I have been working in the medical profession for many years as a Nurse. In my spare time I am an avid reader, hiker and play competitive tennis. I love all genres of literature, especially the interwar years. I am currently taking an online class studying Virginia Woolf 's Mrs Dalloway and To the Lighthouse.
Tomorrow is Mardi Gras in New Orleans. My husband and I are working on our costumes. I plan to costume as a pirate. I wanted to say Hello! to everyone.
